Six things on every domain: the expiry date read at the registry, the certificate served by the site, the DNS records at the authoritative servers, the site's availability, and sending reputation (SPF, DKIM, DMARC and seven public blacklists).

No. No plugin, no agent, no FTP or SSH access. DomainVigil queries your domains from the outside, the way a visitor would.

No. Cloudflare is only there to import a whole portfolio at once, with a read-only token. Without it, you paste your domains and that is all.

It sends one or two, to the address registered when the domain was bought — often a former colleague's, often filed as spam. DomainVigil reminds you at 60, 30, 14, 7 and 1 day, on the channels you chose, and watches four other things your registrar ignores.

Monitoring is read-only: it reads your zones from the outside, without ever touching anything. The copilot can apply a fix — but only at a provider where you connected a write token (today Cloudflare and Hostinger), only after your click, and it is reversible. Nothing goes out on its own.

No. Nothing is installed on their side, nothing shows on their site, and alerts go to YOUR channels. What you tell them afterwards is your business.

The service status is public and readable at any time, and our engine is itself watched from the outside — we are alerted before you are. After an interruption, checks resume where they stopped.

In Germany, at Hetzner, inside the European Union. The “Your data” page names the four processors and says what each one receives.
